Friends of Cheri Bustos (IL-17) – This internship program will provide applicants the opportunity to work alongside campaign staff, receive training from political professionals, and work across campaign departments. As one of the DCCC’s 19 Frontline races for 2018, we’re looking forward to building a great team of interns working on this exciting race. Previous campaign experience is not required – we want to teach! Interns must commit to working a minimum of 20 hours a week. Our interns will assist field, finance, and political departments within the campaign. This is an unpaid internship. All interns should have access to reliable transportation, a laptop computer and cell phone. All interns should also have some evening and weekend availability. The Rock Island County Democratic Central Committee is seeking interns who would help them capture the grassroots, progressive energy sweeping through the country. Interns cover areas including fundraising, field organizations, public relations, and grassroots/volunteer outreach. Currently all internships are unpaid, but as local races hire on staff recommendations will be made based off merit.

If you’re in Virginia, Let America Vote, Jason Kander’s new organization, is looking for field interns interested in voting rights. Interns will learn the basics of how to build a grassroots field program and help to elect candidates who will fight to support and protect our fundamental voting rights. The organization is also offering a fellowship program for participants who are looking to be even more involved.
Men for Choice Digital Internship:
Men4Choice is seeking candidates for an unpaid internship for the fall of 2017, with the
possibility of expanding into 2018. Interns will work directly with the Communications Director on the execution of the organization’s digital strategy. Interns will also have an opportunity to help develop and expand our digital and communications strategy on the grassroots level and to help expand our campaign. In order of priority, interns are needed in: graphic design, content research, Twitter research, content management, and analytics.
Interns should be willing to work between 5 and 10 hours a week depending on work and be 100% pro-choice. Interns who identify as male must demonstrate a true respect for those most affected by these laws and the leaders of this movement. There will be zero tolerance on this issue. There will be no discrimination based on gender; all are welcome to apply.
