Victoria Koffsky is a third-year public policy and history double-major at the University of Chicago. When Victoria was eight she knew that she was interested in politics, as she looked up to her homestate senator, Hillary Clinton. Since then, her passion for liberal politics has only grown. Since moving from New York to Illinois, Victoria has canvassed for Hillary in Iowa as well as for Tammy Duckworth in Illinois.
Outside of CDIL, Victoria serves as the communications director of the University of Chicago Democrats and is president of Crown House, her college residential community. During the academic year, Victoria teaches freshmen biology at Hyde Park Academy through the Neighborhood Schools Program. Additionally, Victoria volunteers with United Way, advocating for and helping to register people for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. For the summer of 2017, Victoria will be interning in the litigation bureau of the Nassau County Attorney’s Office in New York.
